Exclusive preview for Bulgari Sunglasses with China Duty Free Group ahead of global debut.

Luxottica Group, a leader in the design, manufacture, distribution and sale of fashion, luxury and sports eyewear has announced the pre-launch of two pairs of Bulgari sunglasses with China Duty Free Group. The new sunglasses are now exclusively available in all China Duty Free Group stores until December. The travel retail ‘first’ launch is part of Luxottica’s strategy to drive engagement with travelers in Asia Pacific.

The preview is supported by a 360 marketing campaign, running throughout the key travel and gifting season, at China Duty Free Group’s prestigious stores in Haitang Bay’s Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. The campaign is spearheaded by a luxurious and elegant video – created exclusively for the eye-catching LED screens at the window displays at Haitang Bay – and is supported by a striking print campaign and instore pop-up activity at both locations. The promotion is also amplified through China Duty Free Group’s Chinese-centric social media platform, WeChat.

Enrico Destro, Global Travel Retail Director at Luxottica, commented: “We are pleased to collaborate with China Duty Free Group on the exclusive reveal of our Bulgari Serpenti sunglasses ahead of their worldwide debut. Working closely with our partners, we’ve developed an exciting journey of discovery through the exclusive debut of a new product, engaging in-store animations and supporting activities on social media, with a focus on the Chinese shopper and traveler. The Asia Pacific region, particularly China, is of key importance to Luxottica – we are committed to understanding the region’s shoppers better and developing new and interesting products, campaigns and experiences that speak directly to these consumers.”
