Infusing his creative vision into every element of the Gucci marque, creative director Alessandro Michele has recast the Gucci Bamboo fragrance in a modern expression as a limited edition and with a new campaign to match.
As reported by DFH a short while ago, Gucci has a new face and look for its Bamboo fragrance (see story) – and also a new limited edition bottle to track down on your next visit to duty-free. On counter in duty-free / travel retail stores in Europe from January, and in Asia and the Americas duty-free from February 2017.
Cut from amethyst-toned glass, the new Gucci Bamboo Limited bottle features refined art deco inspired lines, and a silver stopper in the form of bamboo. Lavender-hued outer packing depicts a bamboo garden. An updated interpretation on the classic Gucci Bamboo fragrance bottle packaging, the design conveys the scent’s grace and femininity.
Bringing to life the scent’s inspiration, Gucci Bamboo’s Limited Edition advertising image, shot by Glen Luchford captures the poetry and romance that underscores the House’s aesthetic. Model Polina reclines in a wicker chair in a pink lace and silk ruffled gown next to a wooden cage filled with small birds.
Gucci Bamboo Limited Edition’s eau de parfum is the original woody floral fragrance, tinted a jewel tone to celebrate the scent’s new chapter. Soft and intense at once, the scent blooms with notes of exotic Casablanca Lily and Tahitian Vanilla. Sandalwood and Grey Amber balance the femininity with a woody contrast, to create a statement of strength and sophistication.
