Keira Knightley fronts the new Chanel fragrance – 10 years after her first campaign the actress is the face of the new Coco Mademoiselle Intense Eau de Parfum.
As we reported on Duty Free Hunter last week – see post below – Chanel are launching an Intense edition of their Coco Mademoiselle fragrance.
Seventeen years since Chanel released Coco Mademoiselle, the fragrance that scented many a woman’s youth, the French fashion house launches Coco Mademoiselle Intense – a darker, more mature version of the classic. The new scent comes with a suitable glossy advertising campaign featuring Keira Knightley, who has been the face of the original fragrance for the past 10 years.
Chanel’s in-house perfumer-creator Olivier Polge – son of Jacques, the nose behind the original Coco Mademoiselle – says of his creation: “I wanted to remain close to the original formula, while giving it a whole new dimension. I wanted to increase the proportions of fractionated patchouli, push it to the limit – unleash its power on the skin without altering the freshness of the top notes.”
See the campaign film and images below. The new fragrance launches on March 1 around the world including duty-free stores at major airports.
