LOUIS XIII Cognac is introducing its cutting-edge Smart Decanter technology into travel retail in Oceania. Available in a stunning new coffret, the crystal decanter offers integrated near-field communication technology (NFC) to provide clients with seamless access to the LOUIS XIII Society.
Each decanter connects clients directly to the private club, where members can enjoy exclusive content, unique experiences and personalized services through their smartphones. After removing the seal, clients can simply tap and scan their smartphones on the cork stopper to access the LOUIS XIII Society landing page to create or log into their account.
The LOUIS XIII society offers bespoke services such as customized decanter engraving, pre-releases of limited editions, contact with a LOUIS XIII Personal Advisor for private tastings and ultimate experiences, and an invitation to network with LOUIS XIII Cognac connoisseurs registered all over the world. The LOUIS XIII Smart Decanter also enables clients to purchase and send gifts with customized messages that appear when recipients scan their decanter.
Further modernizing the Cognac’s updated offering, each decanter is available in a brand new coffret design. Exquisitely dressed in LOUIS XIII’s emblematic red and accented with metallic bars and sharp angles, the luxury chest blends the storied tradition of LOUIS XIII with the innovative approach that inspired the connected decanter – a coffret ahead of its time. Releasing the coffret’s lockers reveals a masterpiece whose every facet is magnified in a display mirror, and the base houses a booklet detailing the legend of LOUIS XIII, inviting further discovery.
LOUIS XIII partners exclusively with Heinemann to be the first in the Oceania region to launch the new coffret, in conjunction with the LOUIS XIII pop-up at Sydney Airport International Departures, from now until the 7th of November.
