Moët & Chandon celebrates 150th anniversary of its iconic brut champagne with limited-edition bottle

Moët & Chandon is celebrating the 150th anniversary of Moët Impérial, the Maison’s signature brut champagne. To mark this milestone for the champagne that epitomizes the Maison’s extraordinary history and commitment to excellence, Moët & Chandon has unveiled a limited-edition bottle for the iconic champagne.

Moët Impérial was born in 1869 as “Brut Impérial”, a name given in homage to the longstanding relationship between Moët & Chandon and France’s imperial family. Launched at a time when tastes began shifting from sweet to brut champagne, Moët Impérial quickly won over the most discerning palates.

In 1930, led by Robert-Jean de Vogüe, Moët & Chandon began to elevate the international profile of Moët Impérial champagne. Over the years the brut champagne became an indispensable partner at elegant and festive events, served at the most prestigious tables. Today it continues to spread the Maison’s values of generosity, excellence and the preservation of unique French savoir-faire.
