The daughter of Sir Mick Jagger and supermodel Jerry Hall, Georgia May Jagger is the new face of Mulberry.
Georgia is part of the new gang of ‘Brit It Models’, along with Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse and, at just 23, she’s already secured campaigns for H&M, Vivienne Westwood and Chanel, to name but a few.
Her first outing for Mulberry was shot by photography duo Inez & Vinoodh in a rambling house in the English countryside features key pieces from Mulberry’s spring/summer 2015 collection.
The new ‘Delphie’ bag takes pride of place, a design that allows its wearer to cleverly ‘flip’ the outer layer and change its colour. Jagger also sports the best-selling rucksack designed by Cara Delevingne, the ‘Mini Lily’ in camomile yellow and the ‘Small Bayswater’ in hibiscus red, all while wearing pieces from Mulberry’s English country garden-themed spring/summer 2015 ready-to-wear collection.
But Jagger is not alone in her representation of the brand’s latest collection – fellow It Girl and British beauty (and Prince Harry’s ex) Cressida Bonas has also been enlisted. The 25 year-old will star in a short film for the brand in which she’ll showcase her degree-level dancing skills, due to be released in March.
2015 is set to be a big year for Mulberry. On July 8 they will welcome new creative director Johnny Coca, who will join the brand from French fashion house Céline, where he masterminded the design many of the brand’s most successful bags, shoes and accessories.
