Coming soon. Making its debut at the Paul Smith AW23 men’s show in Paris, this landmark new collaboration brings together two of Britain’s most respected heritage brands.

There are few names in British style as storied as Mulberry, the luxury leather heritage firm founded in the Somerset countryside. In fact, the company was founded less than a year after Paul set up shop in his hometown of Nottingham.

And while the origin stories of each brand are similar, it’s a shared approach to style, innovation and creativity that has brought them together for this new collaborative collection of bags, which made their debut on the runway at Paul Smith’s Paris show.

“Paul Smith and Mulberry were founded within a year of each other in the 1970s, so you could say our brands grew up and came of age together,” Paul says. “I think that’s at least partly why we share such a similar approach to creativity and craft – that and our Britishness.”

Reworking one of Mulberry’s most classic designs – the Antony messenger – the collection spans ten styles and utilises primary pops of colour alongside Paul’s hallmark Signature Stripe to bring the idiosyncratic design to life. Watch this space – the entire collection launches later in autumn 2023.
