William Grant & Sons has announced the full acquisition of Silent Pool Distillers, a leading ultra-premium gin producer based in the Surrey Hills in the UK.

With this acquisition, production will remain at Silent Pool Distillers, while William Grant & Sons will act as Silent Pool Gin’s global supply chain and distribution partner, helping to expand the brand’s presence across Travel Retail, Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.

The acquisition adds a complementary brand to William Grant & Sons’ award-winning portfolio of renowned premium whisky and spirits, helping with the expansion of its gin portfolio.

Founded in 2014 by Ian McCulloch and James Shelbourne, Silent Pool Distillers has grown to become the producer of one of the best-selling ultra-premium gins in the UK.

As the exclusive distributor of Silent Pool Gin in global travel retail, William Grant & Sons has exciting growth plans for the ultra-premium brand.
