DiorSplit – Dior launches sunglasses to reinvent the classic Aviator shape in a graphic style…and Rihanna wears them too.
Dior Spring/Summer 2016 collection was unveiled under the patronage of the talented Belgian designer Raf Simons, who directed his ambitions towards preserving the iconic Christian Dior style in all his collections. The lineup appeared to be futuristic and minimalistic, patterned with stripes and zigzag-shape or foamy panels – and to continue the stripe motif of collection, the French fashion house has revealed DiorSplit, a collection of sunglasses that reinterpret a classic Aviator shape.
Introduced in an exclusive video (see below) and seen on Rihanna at the Dior Spring/Summer 2016 show, Dior Split sunglasses feature stripes using different mirror effects on the lenses.

Gold and silver-tone metal inserts create a captivating horizontal band, while silver mirrored lenses ensure 100% UV protection. DiorSplit eyewear will be available in five colour variations, with inserts of sky-blue, marine blue, emerald green, soft pink colours and mirrored steel.
