YSL first presented Black Opium a year ago, now the house of Yves Saint Laurent will introduce a new edition, Black Opium Eau de Toilette, launching at the end of August 2015.
The new version of the fragrance arrives in the same flacon form and the key note remains the same – coffee – which is this time combined with fresh, greener shades of flowers, tea and fruit. the original perfume version of the fragrance highlights a blend of flowers and coffee, while the new version as an EDT accentuates the greener characters of coffee.
Black Opium Eau de Toilette starts with fruity notes of tart and refreshing black currant combined with pear zest, citruses and green mandarin bark. The heart incorporates the key ingredient – coffee which becomes fresher with jasmine tea notes and luminous sweet orange blossom. It highlights sensuality with white musk and white wood which subtly support flowers and fruit of the composition.
The face of the campaign for Black Opium Eau de Toilette is British model Edie Campbell, as it was for the perfume. The bottle retains the same shape but is differentiated by its pink-golden coating.
The fragrance is available in 30, 50 and 100ml Eau de Toilette and will be on shelves from the end of August 2015.
